As a tribal archive, the Catawba Nation Archives’ holdings include records of the tribal government and its departments, as well as culturally sensitive materials, many of which are not available to the general public or non-Catawba researchers. Therefore, we have a layered access system, with the most complete access reserved for enrolled tribal members of the Catawba Indian Nation. All registered accounts provide a username and password for greater access to our digital archives, as well as basic metadata for all of our holdings, but many items remain restricted to tribal members only.
